Privacy policy
Last updated 5 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data Inverse Labs collects, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to comply with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
In this policy, “we” and “us” meanExtralife Technologies, trading as Inverse Labs, based in Bengaluru, India.
What we collect
We collect only what you type into the consultation form on this site, and nothing more:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone or WhatsApp number
- The programme you are applying for, and your target intake
- Your field or subject, and any notes you choose to add
We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this site. We do not set any cookies of our own. We do not buy personal data from anyone, and we do not build profiles of visitors who never contact us.
Data collected automatically by third parties
Two things on this page are loaded from outside our own servers, and each will see your IP address as a normal consequence of your browser requesting a file:
- Google Fonts — the typefaces used on this site are served by Google.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you click a WhatsApp link, which hands you over to WhatsApp and their own privacy terms.
Why we collect it
To contact you about the consultation you asked for, and to prepare for that conversation. That is the only purpose. We do not use your details for marketing lists, newsletters, or automated messaging, and we will not start doing so without asking you first.
Where it goes
Form submissions are written to a private Google Sheet held in our Google Workspace account, and are visible only to people working at Inverse Labs who need to see them. Google acts as our data processor for this; their handling is governed by Google’s own privacy terms, and their servers may be located outside India.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with partner institutes, advertisers, or any other third party for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for [RETENTION PERIOD — e.g. two years]from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. If you become a client, we keep the records needed for the engagement and for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires us to.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data of yours we hold, and what we have done with it
- Correct anything inaccurate, or complete anything incomplete
- Erase your data, where we are not required to keep it
- Withdraw a consent you previously gave, at any time
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated
Email contact@inverselabs.in and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge for any of this.
Security
Your submission travels to us over an encrypted connection and is stored in a Google account protected by two-factor authentication. No system is perfect, and we will not claim otherwise — but we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data, as the DPDP Act requires.
Children
This service is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted their details to us, write to us and we will delete the record.
Grievance officer
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can raise it with our grievance officer:

If we do not resolve it to your satisfaction, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
